Rob holds a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from James Cook University, which he completed in 2023. Before that, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sports and Exercise Science in 2021. These qualifications have equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of human physiology and the science behind optimizing performance and enhancing the quality of life.
With his CrossFit Level 2 Coach certification, Rob possesses a deep understanding of functional training and exercise programming. He is skilled in designing personalized workout programs that cater to the unique needs and goals of his clients, focusing on proper form, injury prevention, and overall performance enhancement. Additionally, as a Level 3 Intern with the Australian Weightlifting Federation in 2018, Rob has gained valuable insights into the sport of weightlifting and the intricacies of training techniques and programming.
Rob’s passion lies in educating individuals with chronic conditions on the best practices for improving their functional abilities in daily activities. He is committed to helping clients overcome challenges and achieve optimal levels of function and independence. His knowledge and expertise extend to metabolic conditions such as obesity, Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes, where he focuses on developing evidence-based strategies for managing these conditions through exercise and lifestyle modifications.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Rob enjoys engaging in various activities to stay active and maintain a balanced lifestyle. His hobbies include weightlifting, CrossFit, rugby league, golf, and exploring new culinary experiences.
